ABC recording captures each behavioral event as a three-part sequence: antecedent, behavior, consequence. It is keyboard-first, so your eyes stay on the student. Press N to open an event, tab across the columns, and pick your tags with the number keys. A behavior is required on every event, so functional analysis can tell behaviors and their consequences apart.

A defensible FBA converges more than one kind of evidence. The case file holds the indirect side alongside your direct observation: a structured teacher interview, imported and speaker-labeled, and printed ABC forms the teacher fills between your visits. Each source keeps its provenance, and the workspace tracks what is still missing.
